Individual Programs and Services
Individual programs are one of the most effective strategies
for behaviour change. These programs address individual needs,
and are tailored to the individual's readiness to change. Skilled
facilitators work with individual employees to design the most
effective program or intervention, and provide consistent follow
up and motivation to help your employees achieve their goals.

Fitness Appraisal - This fitness evaluation
will measure current fitness levels and establish baselines for
individuals to set personal fitness goals. The evaluation will
include body composition, aerobic fitness, muscular strength,
endurance, and flexibility. The appointment can be tailored to
fit the interests of each individual.
Lifestyle Counselling - A one-on-one counselling
program to help employees to develop strategies and techniques
to better manage their personal health. The objective of personal
counselling is to facilitate change in modifiable health risks,
reducing the risk of preventable disease and illness, and the
associated medical and benefit costs.
Nutritional Counselling - One-on-one nutrition
counselling with a registered dietician can provide individuals
with information on specific dietary needs such as diabetes,
eating disorders, gastrointestinal problems, and high cholesterol
as well as assist with meal planning.
Massage Therapy - A Registered
Massage Therapist can come on-site and offer either full-body
traditional massages or chair massages to employees. These sessions
will promote relaxation and relief of general
muscle tension in the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands all
with minimal interruption to the employee's day.
Screenings - Early detection can reduce the
risk of many life-altering diseases and conditions such as diabetes,
heart attack, or osteoporosis. Screening provides an interactive
way to help individuals identify if they might be at increased
risk. Screening clinics may include one or more of the following:
fitness assessment, blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol,
body fat measurements and ultrasound bone density screening.
Personal Training - Personal training will
start participants on their way towards achieving their physical fitness
goals. A qualified Strength Tek Fitness Consultant will ensure
that individuals get the most from their time in the gym and move them
closer to their training objectives.
Work Conditioning - There
are a variety of positions within an organization that can be
physically demanding. This program looks at reviewing the job
function, assessing the individual's current levels, developing
a physical fitness program and monitoring the individual's progress,
and preparing the individual to meet the daily demands of their job
